There was a lot of digging involved with this project. but the results were worth the effort. Per manufacturer's instruction, this patio was installed on top of a 4" stone base covered by a 1" layer of sand. The sod and 6" of soil had to be removed and the site leveled. Next, the 4" stone base was installed & leveled followed by 1" of sand. The paver blocks were cut and laid into place then secured with polymeric sand. Finally, the edges were feathered out with topsoil and the area was re-seeded.
