Is your landscaping overrun with water, weeds or critters? There's a landscaping app for that! Here's a look at two of our recently completed projects that addressed these very issues.
Drainage was a problem for this project. To correct the issue we brought up the grade around the cabin to direct water away from the dwelling. We added drain stone and installed a French drain. The new owner wanted to clean up the existing flower beds (overrun with weeds) but also wanted to retain a casual, woodsy appearance. "Nothing fancy" he said. We were able to salvage many of the perennials found on site. We dug them out & removed the weeds that were choking them by hand. Many were split and/or moved. The owner was happy with the results and no new plants were purchased.
When it comes to garden pests - insect, birds, deer and raccoon usually come to mind. But occasionally you find an unexpected critter robbing your berry patch!
And that's ok. Gardens are meant to be shared!
